What to Expect
Early Morning Arrival & Pre-Flight Preparations
Arrive at the launch site before dawn and relax in the Majlis area with dates, gahwa, tea, and coffee. Watch a safety video and listen to instructions from the expert crew. Then, join the team as the balloon is prepared for flight—watch it unfurl and the basket get ready before you take off into the sky.
Aerial Adventure Over the Desert
Soar to over 4,000 feet and glide above the vast sand dunes, witnessing the magical desert sunrise. Enjoy 360-degree views of the golden sands, its unique flora and fauna, and the serene landscape below during your approximately one-hour flight.
Safe Landing & Flight Certificate

Important Information
ID Requirements: A copy of Emirates ID or Passport is mandatory for each passenger at the time of booking, in compliance with Gulf Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations. Upload your documents at this link at least 24 hours before the flight. Guests must also fill and sign the waiver form on-site before flying. Passengers without these documents cannot fly.
Contact Details: A valid WhatsApp number is required for reservations to receive pickup times and tour updates.
Transfers:
Shared transfers are not available from Palm Jebel Ali, Expo, Dubai Investment Park, Al Maktoum Airport, Al Khawaneej, Al-Aweer, Dubai South, Damac Hills, Sharjah, and other Emirates.
Private transfers are available from Dubai and other Emirates for an additional cost.
Pickup times for shared transfers can vary by 30–60 minutes depending on traffic.
Pickup Instructions:
The Balloon Flights team will share the exact pickup time the day before the tour (between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM).
Be ready at the pickup location at least 10 minutes early, as delays may result in flight cancellation.
Age & Health Restrictions:
Children under 5 years and guests over 70 years are not permitted to fly.
Maximum weight: 119 kg. Guests exceeding this require pilot approval and may incur extra charges.
Pregnant women are not allowed to fly.
Guests must be in good physical condition, able to climb in/out of the basket, and bend in a brace position during landing.
Guests with disabilities (mental, emotional, or physical) are not allowed.
Not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, serious knee/back problems, recent major surgery (within six months), or a fear of heights.
Luggage & Attire:
No heavy luggage allowed during the activity.
Comfortable, casual clothing recommended; avoid high heels. Wear sturdy shoes or boots.
Safety & Conduct:
Flying under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
All participants fly at their own risk. The company is not responsible for any adverse health conditions.
Weather & Flight Conditions:
Balloon flights are subject to weather conditions.
The pilot has full authority to proceed or cancel the flight based on safety guidelines.
In case of cancellation due to bad weather, guests will be offered the next available date or a full refund.
Cancellation Policy:
A 100% no-show fee applies for last-minute cancellations.
No alternate tours or refunds will be provided for no-shows.
